A prosecutor launched an investigation into the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party, or DTP, on Tuesday over its general convention that took place Sunday, the Anatolian news agency reported.

The prosecutor said the investigation is over allegations that terrorist propaganda was presented during the convention. At the convention, a group of masked people wanted to take the stage to spread the propaganda of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, and its imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The prosecutor demanded audio and visual recordings of the convention from the DTP to analyze the events. There is already a pending case at the Constitutional Court for the closure of the DTP
