Travellers planning trips to Türkiye's best-known historical sites next year will pay new admission prices from April 1, 2027. The Culture and Tourism Ministry's revolving fund directorate, DÖSİMM, approved the 2027 tariff in board decisions dated Aug. 27 and Sept. 4, 2026, according to reports by FTNnews and the Aegean coast newspaper Voices. The current 2026 prices remain valid until the new list kicks in.

All the figures below are the euro prices charged to foreign visitors.

Headline sites and increases

Several popular sites will become more expensive. Hierapolis-Pamukkale in Denizli and Istanbul's Galata Tower both rise from €30 to €35. The Göreme open-air site in Cappadocia and the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology each go up from €20 to €22.

Ephesus, near Izmir, is listed at €45 in 2027, a ticket that includes its Digital Experience Museum. A combined Ephesus and Terrace Houses ticket costs €57. In Istanbul, a joint ticket for the Maiden's Tower and Galata Tower is priced at €60, while the Istanbul Archaeological Museums cost €16.

In Cappadocia, Zelve-Paşabağları is set at €13 and the Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu underground cities at €15 each. On the Mediterranean coast, Aspendos and Patara cost €16, Perge €12 and Phaselis €11. Further afield, Sümela Monastery near Trabzon is €22, Gaziantep's Zeugma Mosaic Museum €13 and Ankara's Museum of Anatolian Civilisations €13. The Mevlana Museum in Konya remains free.

Smaller Aegean sites stay comparatively cheap: the Temple of Apollo at Didim and Miletus are €7 each, Aphrodisias €13, and Priene, Nysa and Magnesia €5.

MuseumPass prices for 2027

For visitors covering several sites, the regional passes may still offer savings. MuseumPass Türkiye, valid for 15 days at more than 300 museums and sites, is priced at €185 for 2027. MuseumPass Istanbul costs €120, the Aegean pass €105, the Mediterranean pass €100 and the Cappadocia pass €75.

Prices for foreigners are set in euros, while Turkish citizens generally use the domestic Müzekart. Visitors with trips before April 2027 will pay the current 2026 rates, so checking the official ticketing channel before travel is advisable.
