Turkey Daily News is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and say so.
How to report an error
Email info@turkeydailynews.com with the link to the article, the information you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information. We review every request.
How we correct
- Corrections: if a fact in an article is wrong, we fix the article and add a dated note at the end explaining what was changed.
- Clarifications: if an article is accurate but could be misunderstood, we add wording to make it clearer and note the change.
- Updates: when a story develops after publication, we add the new information and mark the article as updated.
- Minor fixes: spelling, grammar and formatting errors that do not change the meaning may be corrected without a note.
Removing content
We do not normally remove published articles. In exceptional cases, such as a serious legal or safety concern, the editor may decide to remove or anonymise content, and we will explain this where possible.
Response time
We aim to review correction requests within two working days.
