Türkiye’s Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) has put out to tender a 401-unit housing project in Manavgat, one of Antalya’s main tourism districts, adding to a run of state housing projects planned along the country’s southwestern coast.
According to the tender notice reported by Emlakkulisi on Oct. 13, the project covers the second stage of housing in Manavgat’s Karaöz neighbourhood, together with infrastructure and landscaping. The homes will be built with a tunnel formwork system under a turnkey, lump-sum contract.
Bids due Nov. 13
The tender will be held on Nov. 13 at 14:00 and bids must be submitted electronically through Türkiye’s public procurement platform EKAP. The contract will be awarded on a lowest-price basis. Both domestic and foreign companies may bid, with domestic bidders given a 15% price advantage, while joint ventures and consortia are not allowed. Work must begin within 10 days of the contract being signed and be finished within 500 calendar days of site handover.
Two Menteşe tenders in Muğla
In neighbouring Muğla, TOKİ has two tenders scheduled in the Emirbeyazıt neighbourhood of Menteşe district. The first, for 1,182 homes along with a 10-shop commercial centre, a 24-classroom primary school and infrastructure work, is set for Oct. 19 at 11:00, according to a notice reported on Sept. 28.
A second-stage project in the same neighbourhood, covering 803 homes plus commercial units, infrastructure and landscaping, is due to go to tender on Nov. 2 at 11:00, according to a notice reported on Sept. 30.
With the three tenders, TOKİ has nearly 2,400 new homes lined up for bidding in the two coastal provinces over the next month, in addition to the commercial units and the school planned in Menteşe. The Manavgat contract alone gives the winning builder roughly 16 months to complete the work once the site is handed over.
