Planned power cuts will affect parts of 13 Antalya districts on Sunday, 8 November, according to lists from the regional electricity distributor AEDAŞ (Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım) published by Antalya Gündem and Güncel Antalya. Most of the work is listed as maintenance, and most outages run from 09:00 to 16:00.
AEDAŞ runs the local power grid in Antalya province. It announces planned cuts in advance, and they usually affect specific streets rather than whole neighbourhoods.
Alanya and the coast
In Alanya, maintenance from 09:00 to 15:00 is listed for parts of Mahmutlar (Küçük Ahmetler), Kestel, Oba, Tosmur, Bıçakçı, Karakocalı, Kızılcaşehir, Akçatı, Uzunöz and Üzümlü. A second block from 09:45 to 16:45 covers Karapınar, the Keşbeleni and Kozarası highland areas of Mahmutlar, and Arpaşlı in Şıhlar, both outlets reported.
In Kemer, parts of Beycik, Tekirova, Ulupınar and Yeni are listed for 09:00 to 16:00. In Kumluca, switching work from 09:00 to 16:00 is due to affect a long list of neighbourhoods, including the town centre (Merkez), Meydan, Yeni, Karşıyaka, Adrasan, Beykonak and Mavikent.
In Finike, parts of Eski and Yeni neighbourhoods, including the Demokrasi Meydanı area, are listed for 09:00 to 13:00. In Demre, a shorter cut from 13:30 to 16:00 is planned in parts of Çevreli. In Kaş, investment work in Gökçeören is listed for 09:00 to 16:00.
City-centre districts
In Muratpaşa, maintenance from 09:00 to 16:00 is listed for streets in Çaybaşı, Haşimişcan and Kışla, including parts of Atatürk Caddesi in Haşimişcan. In Konyaaltı, streets in Liman, including Liman 2 Caddesi, are listed for 09:00 to 16:00.
Inland districts
