Electricity is being cut for several hours on Monday, 26 October, in parts of Fethiye, Seydikemer, Bodrum, Marmaris, Ortaca, Köyceğiz, Milas and other districts of Muğla because of planned network work, local newspaper Muğla Gazetesi reported.
The outages are for maintenance, repair, investment and operational work on the distribution grid, the paper said. Most run between about 09:00 and 15:00-17:00, and some neighbourhoods may be affected for shorter periods. The cuts come on the same day the province is under an orange weather warning for heavy rain, so residents may want to charge devices and plan ahead.
