Planned power cuts will hit neighbourhoods in at least 15 districts of Antalya on Saturday, 7 November, according to lists from the regional electricity distributor AEDAŞ (Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım) published by Güncel Antalya, Akdeniz Gerçek and Antalya Gündem. Most outages run from 09:00 to 16:00 and are listed as maintenance, investment or third-party work.
AEDAŞ is the company that runs the local power grid in Antalya province; planned cuts are announced in advance and usually affect specific streets rather than whole neighbourhoods.
Alanya, Kaş and Manavgat
In Alanya, cuts are listed in Mahmutlar, Çamlıca, Fakırcalı, Büyükhasbahçe, Fığla, Kızlar Pınarı, Cikcilli, Şıhlar and İmamlı, Güncel Antalya and Antalya Gündem reported. Investment work in parts of Büyükhasbahçe, Fığla and Kızlar Pınarı is scheduled for 09:00 to 16:00, while Mahmutlar, Çamlıca and Fakırcalı are listed for 09:30 to 16:30. A short cut from 09:00 to 10:00 is planned in parts of Cikcilli and Fığla.
In Kaş, outages from 09:00 to 16:00 are planned in Akörü, Ova, Gökçeören and Yeniköy, all three outlets reported. In Manavgat, Dolbazlar, Evrenleryavşı, Sarılar, Sırtköy and Şişeler are listed for 09:00 to 17:00, while work to move a medium-voltage line underground is due to affect Ulukapı, Çeltikçi, Şelale and the Salkım Evler area from 09:00 to 16:00.
City-centre districts
In Muratpaşa, parts of Mehmetçik, Topçular and Doğuyaka, including streets around Aspendos Bulvarı, are listed for maintenance from 09:00 to 16:00. In Kepez, addresses in Ayanoğlu, Gazi, Sütçüler, Zeytinlik, Şelale and Çankaya are also listed for 09:00 to 16:00, according to Akdeniz Gerçek and Antalya Gündem; some published lists group these Kepez streets under Konyaaltı.
In Konyaaltı, rural neighbourhoods including Doyran, Geyikbayırı, Çağlarca and Çitdibi face cuts from 09:30 to 16:30, with Akdamlar and Gökçam affected from 09:00 to 12:00, the outlets reported.
Other districts
Cuts are also listed in Akseki, Aksu, Demre, Döşemealtı, Finike, Gündoğmuş, Korkuteli, Kumluca and Serik. In Serik, parts of Belpınar and Kökez are listed for 09:30 to 16:30, and in Finike parts of Kum and Sahilkent for 09:00 to 16:00.
The published lists are street-level, and some entries carry district labels that do not match the neighbourhood, so the street names are the more reliable guide.
