Planned power cuts will affect parts of six İzmir districts on Sunday, 8 November, according to schedules from the regional distributor GDZ Elektrik reported by TGRT Haber and İz Gazete. The longest cuts, in Kemalpaşa, run for up to eight hours, while early-morning interruptions are planned in central Karşıyaka.
Many entries name only particular streets, so not every address in a listed neighbourhood will lose power.
Karşıyaka early morning
In Karşıyaka, both outlets list short interruptions between 06:00 and 08:30 in Alaybey, Bahariye, Bahçelievler, Tersane, Tuna, Dedebaşı, Goncalar, Bahriye Üçok, Nergiz and Donanmacı. The work is staggered, with different streets affected in half-hour blocks. Streets named include parts of Yalı Bulvarı, Girne Bulvarı, Ordu Bulvarı and Kemal Paşa Caddesi.
Buca and Bornova
In Buca, numbered streets in Seyhan and İnönü are listed for 09:00 to 13:00. From 13:00 to 17:00, cuts move to Güven, Laleli and Yiğitler, including Onat Caddesi, and to parts of Çaldıran, both outlets reported.
In Bornova, streets 7410 to 7413 in the Kemalpaşa neighbourhood are listed for a one-hour cut from 12:00 to 13:00. This is a neighbourhood of Bornova and is separate from Kemalpaşa district.
Kemalpaşa, Torbalı and Bergama
In Kemalpaşa district, cuts from 09:00 to 17:00 are planned in Armutlu 85. Yıl Cumhuriyet, Armutlu Hürriyet and Aşağıkızılca, including Sanayi Caddesi and Koşar Sokak. A second block from 09:00 to 16:00 covers Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Örnekköy, Soğukpınar and Yukarıkızılca Merkez.
In Torbalı, dozens of streets in İstiklal and Yazıbaşı, including parts of Atatürk Caddesi, are listed for 13:00 to 17:00.
In Bergama, Küçükkaya and Yalnızev are listed for 09:30 to 13:00, and Küçükkaya again for 13:30 to 18:00, including Atatürk Bulvarı. Zeytindağ is listed for 10:00 to 14:00.
İz Gazete also listed cuts in other districts, and TGRT Haber listed further cuts in Karabağlar. Those entries could not be matched in both reports, so they are not included here.
