Electricity distributors have scheduled daytime power cuts in parts of Muğla and Antalya provinces on Wednesday, 4 November, including neighbourhoods in Fethiye, Bodrum, Milas, Menteşe, Dalaman, Kaş and central Antalya, according to planned-outage lists from ADM Elektrik and AEDAŞ (Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım) published by local outlets. Most cuts fall between 09:00 and 17:00.

Muğla: Fethiye, Bodrum, Milas and Dalaman

ADM Elektrik, which distributes power in Muğla, Aydın and Denizli, listed outages in 11 Muğla districts, Ege Telgraf and Hamle Gazetesi reported:

Fethiye: parts of Esenköy and Karaçulha, including Dont Caddesi and the area around the Karaçulha produce market, 09:00-15:00 (tree cutting along power lines).

Bodrum: Mazıköy, including the Hurma Sahili, İnce Yalı, Aşağı Mazı and Yukarı Mazı areas, 10:00-16:00 (network maintenance).

Milas: Ahmet Çavuş Hayıtlı, 09:00-12:00; Boğaziçi, Dörttepe and Meşelik, including the Milas-Bodrum road area, 10:30-16:30; İsmet Paşa, 13:00-15:30.

Menteşe: Çırpı, 09:00-15:00.

Dalaman: Sabunlu and Kavacık, 09:00-13:00; Kızılkaya, 13:30-17:00.

Seydikemer: Çayan, Ören, Paşalı and Söğütlüdere, 09:00-15:00.

Köyceğiz: Balcılar, 09:00-12:00; parts of Pınar, 09:00-13:00.

Ula: Karabörtlen, Kıra and Örnekköy, 09:00-12:00; Alparslan, Ayazkıyı and Demirtaş, 10:30-16:30; Akçapınar and Gökova, 13:00-17:00.

Yatağan: Gökgedik, Hacıbayramlar, Hacıveliler, Hisarardı, Kırıkköy, Turgut, Turgutlar and Zeytinköy, 10:10-15:30 (network investment).

Kavaklıdere: Çamlıyurt, 09:00-15:00.

Hamle Gazetesi noted that times may change or work may be postponed because of weather or field conditions, and that power may return earlier if work finishes ahead of schedule. The cuts come a day after a similar list for Tuesday, and Karaçulha residents have also faced water supply problems this autumn.

Antalya: Kaş, Muratpaşa, Kepez and Aksu

AEDAŞ listed cuts in seven Antalya districts, mostly from 09:00 to 16:00, Antalya Ekspres and Antalya Hakkında reported:

Kaş: Üzümlü and İslamlar, 09:00-16:00 (investment work); Kınık and Ova (Kocagöl area), 09:30-16:30; parts of Aklar, Bezirgan, Sarıbelen, Sütleğen, Yaylapalamut, Yuvacık, Çavdır and Çayköy (maintenance).

Muratpaşa: parts of Güzeloba, Güzeloluk, Kırcami (including Yalı Caddesi), Tarım and Yeşilova, 09:00-16:00 (maintenance).

Kepez: parts of Altınova Sinan and Beşkonaklılar, 09:00-16:00 (third-party and relocation work).

Aksu: parts of Murtuna and Gökdere, 09:00-16:00.

Kumluca: parts of Mavikent, 09:00-16:00.

Elmalı: Çaybaşı, 09:00-16:00.

İbradı: Ormana, 09:00-16:00 (investment work).

Antalya Hakkında said the cuts apply only to the listed streets and addresses rather than whole districts, and that power may be restored earlier or later than planned.

Rain warning

Muğla is also among the provinces under a yellow warning for heavy rain on Wednesday, after Tuesday evening downpours flooded homes and greenhouses in parts of Fethiye, as reported in our Aegean heavy rain coverage.
